Comprofile

On my left is someone who likes Japanese, Korean stuff and the nyan cat.

On my right is someone who blocked her blog so I can't read it.

Right in front of me is a bass player who tweets in Japanese as often as Loke saying F.

On his right is someone who turns the classroom into a gaming centre during lunch breaks.

Behind me is someone who has a mispelled noun for a name.

On her left is someone who dresses as an intruder to our school.

On her right is someone who uses only two fingers when doing an impression of rushing programming assignments.

When the day met the night... and all that crap

I'm having my common test the Monday after the next. Hm honestly I don't feel tense or anything. I don't know. I used to take 10 subjects. Now I have only 3 modules to deal with.

That should be a piece of cake shouldn't it. We'll see.

Anyway. Life's good. Very happening. I somehow got into the dance club. I'll be busy with CCA, ES commitee and magic.

I wanna blog more and I will. But first, study!

I like cocoa better

Hey peeps!

I guess I'll stop apologizing for being here so much less often than before. A lot has been going on lately. Though I don't believe that there's such a thing as 'no time'. 24 hours is enough for everyone.

It's not about how you use it. It's about how you sacrifice your sleep. Haha.

Anyway. Other than classes, CCA has taken up most of my time. Cocurricular activities. It's quite important I would say, as in these achievements definitely help in your applications for university. And of course it's hella fun.

My school has I think more than 100 CCA clubs. No joke. The range is pretty wide. Dragonboat, french, inline skating, astronomy etc. You name it. Pretty much anything you can think of. I, being the one who's interested in random and different stuff, joined a few clubs just to see what I'll get.

Aikido

Ahh the training itself is 1 hour. The overall travelling takes about 2 hours. I feel that it's not that worth it. Yes George sensei is very experienced and skilled. Though I don't really enjoy the ambience of the training. I don't know. See how it goes.

Chess

As a nerd who's into chess. I find the chess club not too bad. The players there are good. I'll definitely learn something new. Just that I have a feeling when my classes gets tough I will wish that I had that 2 hour of chess time to do something else. For example, SLEEP.

Magic

Ahh I'm so excited when I saw this club. It's actuall the Entertainers' club. Under it there's magic, beatboxing, balloon sculpting and one more other thing which I couldn't be bothered to remember. I went through the magic audition. Performed Bill Malone's version of estimated aces. Went well. Got in. Met lots of talented people. And I sessioned with my new mentor. Mr Sherman Tan! He is crazy good. He knows Lennart Green in person, saw him do the beam deal with the whole freaking deck, and he gave lectures in Holland. Enough said.

Dance (Probably failed my audition)

Actually today was the audition. Ummm we learned a dance routine and practiced it for a while before going into the audition room. I wouldn't say I did too badly but I think I don't stand a chance. There's like over 300 people trying out and they're taking in about 120 I heard. For someone who has no dance background whatsoever, I'm just glad I got this over with. No regrets. =)

Common test is in 3 weeks.
Quiz next week, or the one after the next.
Proposal due the week after the next.
Presentation project due in about a month.
Let it rip.
