Whadup whadup whadup y'all!
Yesternight was mad awesome. My friends and I meet at the basketball court behind the temple at kosa. 没错,就是中秋节!
The crowd was big. There were performances of elderly people dancing which... umm.. isn't that entertaining but hey I think I wouldn't be able to move like that when I'm 70. So props to all dancers! Some of the form 4 guys were there as well. 咱们 就聊天啊,聊人聊事,十分轻松。
We actually sucked at lighting up a lantern. Anyways I did manage to get it done, so we walked around a bit then I gave my lantern away to a kid. =)
Then we went on the swing. Very high, literally. It's been a long long time since I went up the swing like at least 2 meters. It got to a point where it was mad-exhiliarating-high-flying-scary. 很疯很疯。豪杰差点自杀,秋千荡到一半跳下来。撞到背部啦,活该。赐爝超enjoy,再高一点,再高一点!然后玩显了大家就回家。
Though just when we're about to leave. We suey suey stepped on a spot where there were mercun. Piak piak piak, I think it stung my leg a bit. 正在扫地的Auntie骂我们说“看到我拿着什么吗?(扫把)要不要来一起扫??!”Dear Auntie, 冤枉啊,炮并不是我们放的。我们更不会傻到放炮炸自己的脚,对吗?
So that was the only bummer of the night. 除了这件小事,一切只能用一个字形容,爽! 真的好久没有这样玩了,回味... ... ...
Next time. It'll be funner, badder, crazierer. 这次不会是最后一次,毕业后我们再来!

Waterlove
The waters used to be still
like the surface of a pond
Undisturbed
I could use it as a mirror
I could see my own reflection
Clarity
Then the rain came pouring down
more like a thunderstorm
Chaos
I enjoy the beautiful rain
yet the waters are quiet no more
Disrupted
The waters will never be calm
unless the clouds go away
Repeat
Written on a rainy day

First time in a long time
Yeah. Percubaan results are out. I'm satisfied with my grades.
5A+ 4A 1A- (BC grrr...) 4th position in class.
I don't wanna get overconfident though. So it's the usual - good, not great, could do better.
And something odd happened during moral class. Well my friends and I attended a moral talk a while ago. We found some major contradictions in the answering techniques that were taught by our schools' teachers and the teacher who gave the talk.
That is for essay, do we just start with Nilai xxx. Or do we have to write a full sentence, xxx perlu mengamalkan nilai xxx. So I asked Pn Lim well which do we follow.
It's a very simple question.
Then. A teacher came in. She asked us if we wanted to follow the words of some teacher whom we don't know well or that of the teachers who taught us these two years. She said she feels sad bla bla bla bla.
Huh? This is now a trust issue? Come on teacher, we're students, it's only right that we ask when we're confused. And I'm not the only one, the whole class is. So if you wanna talk about trust, honestly I trust facts, data. Our school produces more or less 5 A+ for moral per year I guess? And that teacher whom we met for the first time claimed that all her students (probably first class only) got A+ except two. (They got A)
Hm... what do you think? What does your common sense or any other senses tell you? Just putting it out there.
And based on language what the other teacher said was perfectly logical. I believe there's nothing wrong with writing a full sentence. And it could possibly be considered wrong to write an incomplete sentence. So what's the big fuss about following her methods anyway?
All I can say is, none of us were trying to challenge you la teacher. We have better things to do, such as making sure the right way to follow so that we could score well in spm so that you wouldn't have to face the pengetua with a sour face.
Get real. Be more professional.

Good afternight
Tuition today at Omega was somehow extra boring and drowsy. I was literally at one point unconscious. Half dreaming, the other half daydreaming.
I'm really tired. Having to wake up every Sunday morning at about 6.45am. Bathe, prepare, have my first breakfast. The bus fetches me at 7.25am. Reach Omega at 8am. Tuition starts at 8.30am and ends at 10.30am. Reach home at 11am. Have my second breakfast. Dilly dally. Nap till maybe 1pm. So that's pretty much 6 hours gone, just for that 2 hour tuition.
Hm I believe it's worth it, or else I wouldn't have done it. My teacher, Cikgu Radzi, he's a real pro. He definitely knows what he's doing. He's knowledgeable, non-racist, humourous, speaks with a clear voice and tries his best to keep the class interested. One of the best teachers I reckon.
Yeap I sure wish that all the depressing Sunday mornings aren't for nothing.
Good afternight. ( used for afternoon naps)

We need to talk
So today's the day of the Taylor's College's Principal Awards interview.
I had a rough morning. After I got my haircut, I prepped myself for the interview. I realised that I got the wrong shirt. It was suppose to be long sleeved. I was pretty mad, still nothing could be done so I had to make do with it. Ah It's totally not my look. Slack pants are pretty cool though. And those shoes, you know the polished shoes where adults wear to work? I had to wear a pair of those. They felt like high heels literally. Yeap, guy's high heels.
I got to Thistle Hotel and met up with Vanessa, who's in this over-mature-looking dress, or whatever you call it. Then Jia En and Cheng Yin arrived. Jia En looked suave in his dark attire, like a lawyer ready to sue the crap of out someone. And Cheng Yin looked like his assistant. Then Yong How arrived. He too was wearing dark blue and black. So everyone looked natural except for me.
We attended the briefing session. Half of the people there was from SSI. So yea we're ready to own some SSI-ers. Nah just joking. Bla bla bla, this and that. And it was time.
Je, yh, cy and I was the first batch for the afternoon session. V was only after us so she had to wait. My interviewer was Ms Oi Lay Tin, I don't know how its spelled. She was rather friendly. Asked sharp questions, like if we were to introduce Ninjutsu into Taylor's how would you implement it? Give me a gist of your essay within a few sentences. What is your two main priority as a president of a club? (I thought there could only be ONE priority.) Um it ended after 20 minutes or so. I wasn't nervous at all. I didn't stutter. So I think I did okay.
I fetched yh back home. I had lunch and slept for slightly less than 4 hours.
I hadn't completed my homework. Oh baby cousins coming! *Scratched thoughts of actually touching my homework *

Thank You It's Friday
Yesterday was quite a day. I loved it.
I woke up about 8am. Did something to kill time. Hope you liked it.
I went for lunch with yxhmcxy. Triple cheese burger was mad awesome. Seriously I don't think it's possible to get enough of cheeeeeeeeeeese. Pictures are not always the best thing. It's always nice to see it but it's kinda sad when all you can do is only see. I'm not trying to make sense here. So uh... anyways, I thank you all for that wonderful time.
In the evening I went photo-video-shooting with yhkswagbyyxh. It was hella fun. I realised that photoshooting can be very fulfilling. We went walking around belibis area. We even went to the water tank, just to see what we'll get. I suppose for me, I don't really have any strong inspirations to take beautiful shots. Though I really enjoyed the experience. SHADOWS are the new in-thing. Haha. Let's do it again some other time okay? A million thanks to you guys for making my day.
My videocam hadn't enough battery life. Ah long story, don't wish to talk about it. So it was a bummer that I could not record the whole session. Oh yea we went to Pn Soh's house, snapped pictures of her dog. We had a chat about future plans, hmm mainly about how choosing our path can help in achieving self satisfaction in the long run. Thanks Pn Soh!
Then uh Soon Ming and I went to Church of Praise for the 中秋节event. Esther and Timothy is part of the JC Radix so they were there too. We played games, had food, had fun. Um honestly everything there had nothing to do with 中秋节 other than the decorations. Haha. Still I had a great time there meeting new people. My group leader was Jasmin, who's studying in Singapore, sec 3. Yeap better write it down so I don't forget. Thank you Soon Ming's parents and uncle (never knew his name ) for the transport!
Actually I once went to a barbecue at Nusavilla organised by them last year. That time I went with Helen and Jiawenn. I was quite surprised that some of them still remembered me. Of course I remember them too. Thanks people for throwing such an awesome party!
Yeap and I went to sleep after I finished watching 'The Illusionist'. Fascinating movie. Seriously to all magic lovers out there, check it out.
So I had a great day. Tired but great. Tired and great.

The maestro. The legend. The king.
It's Malaysia Day, yes a holiday.
So I was just sitting in my room surfing the theory11 site, then I saw this video of David Copperfield performing on the finale of America's Got Talent yesterday. He performed the Shadow Box and Squeeze Box. His magic was full of charm.
He is the most famous and successful magician in the world. He's for real. His magic is a mystery. He lead people into believing that spirits, ghosts helped him to achieve his illusions. Till this day, few can explain how walked through the Great Wall of China, how he made the Statue of Liberty disappear. I know I can't.
As a card magic pratitioner, I look up to him a lot. Although he was not my major inspiration in magic, he showed all of us what a single man can achieve with passion, hardwork, and determination. A phenomenon.
I wiki-ed his name and guess what? Today's his birthday! 16 Septermber. What are the odds? Yes it's 1 in 365. So if you think of it, Malaysia's having a holiday on David Copperfield's birthday!
Have fun people.

May~be~May
So yesterday. I got very bored and decided to film a magic video. It's an effect by Alex Elmsley. He invented my most trusty sleight, the elmsley count. It's nothing too hard, but it has served me tremendously well throughtout the years. I don't really remember the name of the effect though.
The performance was done at a normal speed (already quite slow) and slowed down even more by editing. To me speed isn't really a factor that defines your magic. I don't really mind fast or slow, but I try to get as smooth as possible.
You know me, when it comes to videos, it's a lot of about the music. The music used in the video is Cooler Than Me, it's alternate version that is. Recommended by Cuiling, thanks! It gives the exact feel that I want the performance to have, smooth, style, cool, and class.
The title has an interesting story behind it. It was inspired by mcxy, we had a chat and I asked her to think of a title. She kinda gave me 'Tomato, Toilet, Toothbrush, OMG, WOW' and other 'great' ideas. Then she said she MISSES her towel. MISS. Has different meanings, and the star of the trick is a queen. I figured it was the perfect title for the video.
I'm satisfied with the end result.
MISS =) Enjoy.

A nonchalant post
So, the day was good.
I mean yesterday, it's 12.27am.
Nothing went too wrong and I'm grateful for that.
I woke up at 8am to write a letter.
Yes, me, writing, pen, paper, long long essay-karangan-作文.
Had lunch with three fine ladies, ctzwjcllyxh.
There was the blue, the grey, and the nothing = pink.
Though I wasn't quite sure that I behaved normally.
Thanks Chentel's and Jeslene's mom for the ride.
I finished watching Vampire's Diaries.
Not bad at all, still I'm unhappy that Lexi died.
Tried to touch my homework but wasn't successful.
Come to think of it, I kinda wasted my day.
Though I enjoyed it.
Time I enjoy wasting was not wasted.

As nothing as me
I have nothing on my mind right now.
It's a great feeling.
I think it's the morning.
The next time I get this feeling is probably in the exam hall.
That I hope won't happen.
Ah enjoy it while I can.
I know it won't last.
PS : Paper work due today.
