Undercover

Hey guys long time no blog, I have been wanting to record my own video for a very long time but had no time to do it. Now that exam's over, sure enough I got down to business. For your information, my videos are basically about cards and magic and more magic.

I spent like 2 hours recording the 1 minute video. And spent about 10 hours editing it. It isn't as easy as people thought it would be, including me. Now I know why do they take so long to make a movie.

The trick you saw was a routine I made up. I call it UNDERCOVER. The moves are not mine but I did came up with the idea and put them together. It basically featured Daniel Garcia's ego change but I did my version of it. The deck color change in the end really spiced things up. Am proud of myself. =)

Fina year exam II

So its the end of the second week. Most of the tough ones are over. Well except chinese and bio that is.

Okays let me think back...

Day 1. Moral. tough.
Day 2. SJ 1. not bad.
Day 3. SJ 2 and Chem 2. KILLER DAY. I probably flunked it. I didn't even have enough time to chat. Enough about that. Really really sucky day.
Day 4. Fz 1 and 3. Cheese.
Day 5. Chem 1 and 3. Chem 1 harder.

Surprsingly paper 3 ain't that hard. Probably because I already knew what was going to come out. Oh well, everyone does.

Four more to go. And I'm free. Can't wait.

Final Year Exam

Yeap yeap yeap. We've all been preparing for this moment. A moment that last for freakin' three weeks that is!

Anyways, this time round tips were here, there, everywhere. I practically knew what was going to come out for a few subjects. But of course, everyone too.

Day 1 : EST. I just died.
Day 2 : BM. Not too bad.
Day 3 : MM. Cheese cake.
Day 4 : BIO 1, 2. Not as hard as I thought. Still, tough.
Day 5 : BI. So-so.

BI hahaha. Everyone was reading according to the exam tips. Deforestration, Teenage problem, Advantages of the Internet, Celebration of festival in Malaysia, Daring Robbery and so on.......


LOL. NONE OF IT CAME OUT. I TOTALLY LAUGHED MY HEAD OFF.

Still, the H1N1 did come out. Though no one was quite prepared for it. Lesson of the day, TIPS ARE FOR WAITERS AND BELLBOYS ONLY. Because a correct and accurate tip should be known as something like... um.. PREMONITION. yea thats the word.

Ok I really shouldn't be here. And I have no idea who will read this until the exam's over.

Hey blog

Went to school day to get my koko marks. Of course it was boring. Though En. Chow challenged me to a chess game. I accepted it glady and lost with glory. haha. I really suck at endgames. It was stupid pawn move I made, if I were to push it two squares forward it would probably be a draw. Still, it made the whole wake-up-early-and-go-to-school-thing worth it.

Exam's coming right up, oct 26. Seems like a long time but trust me it's not enough. Gotta rush. Won't be here for quite a while. See you blog. I will miss you. Not.

SIXTEEN oh yea

I'm finally 16. Hmm.. not much excitement though. Still, glad to be 16. =)

I'm just chilling at home. Not going anywhere in particular. No cake this year. Pizzas! My parents wanted to eat out but I kinda insisted on order and delivery.

To all my friends, thanks for your birthday wishes. I appreciate it very much. I love you guys!

So long 15...

Well well well... my long awaited 16th birthday EVE is finally here. I will miss you 15 but I'm looking forward to 16 more!

My 15 year-old life has been a great one. It is of joy and laughter and sarcasm and I hope 16 will be the same, in a good way. The best thing is, I get to spent 15 with you! ( By you, I refer to everyone who knows me, not someone in particular.)

Long time no see

Last Wednesday went to Secret Recipe at Perling Mall to meet Delin, a friend of mine who moved to Ipoh about three years ago. It was pretty fun. Altogether there was 8 of us. We had a nice chat and I ordered a spaghetti bolognaise but somehow the guy heard beafball spaghetti. Either ways, beafball spaghetti was nice.

She hasn't changed a bit. To me at least. And she said that I changed a lot three years back. Pretty shocked to hear that. She's still quiet, shy. Still, it was pleasant meeting a friend you haven't seen in 3 long years.

Will this happen after we part from secondary school?

The Rematch

Gary Kasparov and Anatoly Karpov are having a rematch!!!!! For those who don't know Gary Kasparov, he is the Lin Dan in badminton, the Usain Bolt in sprinting, the David Copperfield in magic, the Kee Yong How in add maths... the... you get the idea. And Anatoly Karpov is his all-time rival, Kasparov won against him in the world championship back in 1985 and was crowned world champion. Though in 2002, Karpov beat Kasparov in a match in New York (2.5-1.5). And now in 2009, their rivalry will continue to see who will come out on top!

Their first match was held Yesterday in Valencia. Gary Kasparov took an early lead. 2-0. It's pretty surprising to me cause although Gary Kasparov was the highest ranked player in chess, he hasn't played since 2005. He was occupied with some Russian opposition political stuff. So it's safe to assume that his skills are greatly decreased. On the other hand, Karpov has been playing competitive chess all this while, so how could he lost the first two games?

Nonetheless, this event will put chess in the limelight once again. I know chess might seem lame, but I can tell you that a high level chess game can be super-intense as in any finals in sports. Maybe even more. Battles of the mind. Let me show you what I mean.
