WAT'S UR NEXT MOVE?

Oh I'm excited. I don't care if I'm the only one who is, I'm definitely looking forward to this moment alright.

It all started about a month ago when we are set to design a new shirt for the chess club. Being the guy who is sick of the standard-looking-retro-yet-boring cub t-shirt, of course I agreed to this. I came up with the first draft, a design with simple lines and an abstract logo. I thought it was decent but my brothers doesn't seem to like it. So scratch that idea, we need a new one.

We got down and started sketching everything and anything that we could think of. There was different idea and concepts, Haukit's idea was to focus on the shirt itself, using collar neck shirt with no buttons or something like that, and a simple design to go along with it. Yonghow's thinking was to focus on the 'chess club' wording, making it simple, straightforward, yet as creative as possible. Jiaen wants to make a shirt like those you could get from Silver Planet and Crossover, big letters with fluorescent colours, and a funky design. I personally prefer just a simple round neck shirt with an awesome design.

I started drawing the animated king quite a while ago, though never thought of using it. And our pengerusi, Chengyin kept on nagging nagging... nagging us to come up with a design and submit it as soon as possible. And on that faithful day, we had to come up with something, anything. Then this idea popped up in our minds, I drew the animated king at the side while Yonghow suggested to write something, a relevant question beside it. Thinking thinking.. oo. How bout What's your next move? Yonghow corrected me, its Wat's Ur Next Move? Alright, so he designed the font and our club shirt design is now on it's way. A masterpiece of a final brainstorm.

A few days later, Jiaen proposed a design for the back of the shirt. A simple square containing the words Chess Club and SMKSP. Making it like a clothing line logo, I thought that idea was fantastic. So that was done as well. We made a few trips to the clothing shop, or whatever you call that shop, and made some changes here and there. DONE. Major YAY=)

So now it's down to selling the clothes. Promoting it. I've about 80 orders right now which is pretty decent, but I hope we can go further. This shirt shall become a fever. I hope =)
