I'm not going to talk about the ceremony itself. Other than there's a 2-hour difference between Malaysia Standard Time and Malaysians time. It's getting worse. I'm pretty sure in 10 years you can arrive 2 hours later in the exam hall and the test is still yet to begin.
So the day before I bought two shirts at Jusco. Not T-shirts. Shirt shirt. Like guy-who-goes-to-office-9-to-5-job-meeting-proposal-everyday shirt. Full black and dark blue with silver stripes. Formal attire sucks. Except for the pants. I'll take slacks over jeans any day.
Oh then after that we met up with Pn Tan and Pn Tay. Pn Tay's treat to Nando's! Spilled all of the secrets amongst ourselves including who-likes-who, who-cheated-in-exam and other embarassing secrets including a very disturbing one. I kid you not when I say that it's highly disturbing. It should be rated. Like 18-OMG or 18-PUKE.
Which reminded me of after receiving our spm results we yumcha-ed with Pn Lim and Pn Soh. Pn Soh quoted 'Jake will be a good son-in-law'. Haha. Pn Lim's like 'Sarah lah!' Pn Soh went 'Nooooo lahhhhhh....' They really can chat. Anyways thanks for the treat Pn Lim!
We were all dressed up formally. A few of the girls had to change cause they dressed to sexy for the school I guess. Then we started to make fun of each other and commenting on who we look like.
CJ - Company boss/chaffeur who drives a Mercedes-Benz/ Pilot/ Male model for G2000.
Vanessa - Company boss's rich wife.
Siang - Office boy who's always late for work.
Oi Yee - Office lady who's always photostating papers for meetings.
Me - Later someone said I look mysterious, maybe I'm the creepy CEO who kills his secretary.
Yong How - Chow Ming Jack Jr.
Dyi Perng - Boy scout.
It's almost stupid how much fun we had just by talking crap like this. Stupidity is not a factor when it comes to having fun. Oh later we walked in a single line for about 10 minutes in Sutera Mall. That is probably the lamest thing I've ever done in public.
After that we went to have lunch and then sang at Big Mouth. I'm not much of a singer and I barely listen to chinese music. Not exactly the right singing crowd for me but all is fun when done with friends.
Wasted some time at Sutera Mall. Walked in a straight line. We kinda looked like jobless people. Especially me I think. With no tie and shirt untucked. Oh I met xiao-J. A magician in our region. Not really famous but quite active. I asked for a card magic demonstration. It was not bad. I shuffled the deck and cut to an ace. Haha hope I fooled him.
Ahh I will miss this.
* 10 years later we'll meet up wearing the same attire. *
